VERY STYLISH PEOPLE: Steed Lord

Hoy quiero hablaros del grupo musical Steed Lord.
Son de Islandia y son tres, Kali(cantante)Demo y Mega(productores).
Desde muy jóvenes estuvieron vinculados al mundo de la música y el arte, de hecho Kali es hija del famoso cantante islandés Bo Halldorsson.
Debutaron con su primer álbum en 2008 y desde entonces no paran de cosechar éxitos.
Pero no solo son conocidos por su música. También lo son por que producen sus propios videoclips, toman sus propias fotografías, diseñan todo su marketing promocional y lo que más me interesa, diseñan sus propios estilismos. Hace algunas temporadas H&M les encargo diseñar una colección para Divided, que se comercializó en más de cincuenta países.
Gracias a su sentido del estilo y su atrevida aportación al mundo de la moda han aparecido en algunos de los blogs más importantes y en publicaciones como VOGUE.
Esta claro que derrochan originalidad tanto en su manera de vestir como en su música. Os dejo su web, a mi me encantan, espero que os gusten!!!! ;-P

Today I want to talk about the band Steed Lord.
They are from Iceland three, Kali (singer) Mega and Demo (producers).

080, FW2011/12 MANUEL BOLAÑO-SCHIPPER/ARQUES

Bueno, llego el último dia de la pasarela 080. Suena el despertador y yo me levanto con un ataque de lumbalgia, horror!, otra vez voy a perderme a Manuel Bolaño.
Pero que yo me lo pierda, no quiere decir que vosotros tengáis que perdéroslo.
Aquí os dejo un resumen lo más interesante del dia.
Manuel Bolaño pisó la alfombra con una espectacular colección. Toques de Edgar Allan Poe, lujo y cuento de hadas. Como algunos dicen por ahí, yo también creo que esta preparado para dar el salto a Paris.

Y Schipper/Arques que experimenta con el cuerpo de la mujer convirtiéndolo en objeto de una transformación, una evolución de la feminidad. Siluetas estrechas, volúmenes gaseosos y líneas agresivas. Una mujer de armas tomar.

Con su “Sport Deluxe” Krizia se sube al podium.
Premio a la mejor colección M/W, nos vuelve locos con su espectáculo.
Camioneros, chicas de la vida, stripers y toda una fauna representada con unas prendas llenas de color. Un estilo canalla, divertido y muy joven, solo apto para los que quieren ser vistos y vestir como quieren. ;-P

Riquísima en materiales y con muchísimo estilo, así es la colección de Juun.J.
Una deconstrucción, una reinterpretación de lo clásico, una nueva manera de ver la elegancia masculina.
Abrigos, chaquetas, trajes, pantalones de campana y mucho gusto por el detalle.
En mi opinión la mejor colección masculina de las vistas. Me lo pondría todo!

Una muy buena puesta en escena que nos dejo pegados al asiento.
Así empezó "Fundido en negro" la colección de Txell Miras.
Explorando los patrones, diferentes texturas, cremalleras y volúmenes,
nos demuestra el sinfín de posibilidades que tiene el negro.
Un gran trabajo que se nota sobre la pasarela. Felicidades!

Miriam vuelve a la 080 con una colección inspirada en el antiguo oficio de las lavanderas, rica en materiales y volúmenes. Usando el látex de manera muy inteligente, consigue efectos mojado, con grandes volúmenes nos recuerda a las diferentes capas de los antiguos ropajes de estas mujeres. Una colección que te transporta al pasado y te deja verlo con una lente futurista.
